1. Comet ISON is Nibiru.
Info: Comet ISON is not Nibiru. Nibiru is an ancient Akkadian term that was revitalized by science fiction author Zecharia Sitchin in his 1976 book The 12th Planet. In the book, it was proposed that a planet existed beyond the orbit of Neptune and made its way into the inner Solar System every 3600 years. Nancy Lieder, who claims that as a girl she was contacted by aliens called Zetas, asserts that Nibiru is approximately four times the size of Earth.
Facts: Comet ISON was discovered on September 21, 2012 at around 01:15 UTC. At the time, it was approximately 6.239 AU from the sun, which is a distance of 584+ million miles (941+ million kilometers). At that same time, Jupiter was 5.034 AU from the sun and Saturn was 9.781 AU from the sun. Jupiter has an average visual magnitude of -1.97, and Saturn has a magnitude of +0.125. Jupiter and Saturn are easily viewable here on Earth in the night sky. At the time ISON was discovered, it was between the orbits of Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn is 9+ times the size of Earth with a diameter of 71,000+ mi (114,000+ km). Jupiter is 10+ times the size of Earth with a diameter of 85,000+ mi (138,000+ km). Earth has a diameter 7900+ mi (12700+ km). ISON was visible with large telescopes between September 2012 and May 2013. Between May and August 2013, ISON was within the glare of the sun. ISON was visible again with telescopes after August 2013.
Thought experiment:Let’s assume that Sitchin and Lieder are correct for the moment. If Nibiru is at least 4 times the size of Earth, than it is at least a theoretical planet 31600+ mi (50800+ km) in diameter. That’s a fairly large sized theoretical planet that’s less than half the size of Saturn. Mars is a tiny planet, almost half the size of Earth, and has a diameter of 4200+ mi (6700+ km), and is visible in the night sky. This means if ISON was Nibiru anyone in the Northern Hemisphere on Earth would have been able to view the theoretical planet without the help of a telescope. It would have been a fairly bright object back in September 2012, and a really visible bright object today. This also means any amateur astronomer could have imaged the disk of the theoretical planet and placed it on the internet. This also means that amateur astronomers would have been able to image potential detailed features on the theoretical planet and place them on the Internet. The polar ice caps on Mars were noticed by Giovanni Cassini in 1666. In 1610, Galileo published his findings and observations of Jupiter’s moons in Sidereus Nuncius. The Great Red Spot on Jupiter was first seen by Robert Hook in 1664. Basically, this means with the equipment with have today, amateur astronomers and scientists would be fighting tooth and nail to publish their findings on the Internet. We would be able to see brilliant images of theoretical bands of clouds or even craters. Creative amateurs could use a telescope and an iPhone to capture potential cloud bands like they would Jupiter. Instead, we find that as of early October, ISON is a magnitude -11.0 object that is slowly brightening. No one on Earth can prevent sunlight from reflecting off a large theoretical planet the size of Nibiru and prevent it from appearing in the sky. Not even Mr. Burns. ISON is an extraordinarily tiny object that is less than 3 miles in diameter. If you were to place a photo of ISON next to this photo of Jupiter captured by a telescope and an iPhone, it would be 0.004% the size of Jupiter. That’s incredibly tiny. It’s not even the size of the period at the end of the sentence.
2. Comet ISON is a UFO

Facts: As of October 8, 2013, ISON was moving at a speed of approximately 77,000+ mph (123 km/h). As of October 8, 2013, ISON was approximately 1.516 AU from the sun, which is over 140+ million mi (226+ million km). It was 12.608 light minutes from the sun.
Thought experiment: Let’s assume that ISON really is an extraterrestrial spacecraft that is making its way into the inner Solar System and that everyone on board are excited and friendly tourists. Let’s also agree that the pilots and engineers of the spacecraft are highly advanced and are 1,000 years ahead of us in all scientific fields. For the purpose of this thought experiment, let’s also say that they actually live next door near the closest star Proxima Centauri, and live on a habitable planet called Alpha that we’ve yet to find, and it took 4.25 years to get here because they took Economy Class and because they couldn’t afford First Class wormhole travel. Proxima Centauri is 4.24 light years away. This means that light, which travels at 671 million mph (1080 million km/h) would take 4.24 years to reach Earth. Light also travels at 171 AU in 24 hours. It takes light from the sun to reach Earth (the distance of 1 AU) in 8.3 minutes. This means that if someone could turn the sun off like a light bulb, we wouldn’t notice for 8.3 minutes. Why on Proxima Centauri Alpha would our tourists travel at a speed of 77,000+ mph (123 km/h) when they can travel at 671 million mph (1080 million km/h)? That’s traveling at 1/8714th the speed that they are theoretically capable of. On a smaller scale, that’s the equivalent of having a Model T that can go 40 mph (64 km/hr) travel at a speed of of 0.004 mph (0.007 km/hr). That’s almost two times the average speed of a snail that can travel at 0.002 mph (0.004 km/hr). On a smaller scale, that’s wasting your time joyriding in a Model T at 24.2 feet per hour (7.34 m/hr). And no, a spacecraft is not hiding behind the comet. That’s the equivalent of driving on a highway behind a cement truck for months on end. If anything, an advanced species would use some sort of cloaking device, and even then, what would they have to fear if they actually existed?
3. Comet ISON is bringing back the Bubonic Plague

Facts: The Black Death is thought to have originated in China or central Asia and travelled the Silk Road until it reached the Crimea region in 1346. From there, it traveled on ships to Europe on infected fleas living on rodents. Currently, 5 to 15 people in the United States catch the plague each year.
Bottom line: Why would you need a comet to carry a deadly disease, when they are already spreading naturally by organisms here on Earth? Here’s a list of the top 10 naturally occurring deadly diseases in the developing world. None of them are transmitted by comets. Comets do not transmit diseases but you can.
4. Comet ISON is turning Mars, Venus, and Mercury into comets with comas
Facts: Comet ISON is three miles in diameter. Mars is a tiny planet, almost half the size of Earth, and has a diameter of 4200+ mi (6700+ km). Venus is 7500+ mi (12000+ km) in diameter. Mercury is 3000+ mi (4800+ km) in diameter.
Thought experiment: Let’s assume that ISON is somehow lighting up each planet and turning them into comets. ISON is less than three miles in diameter. If Mars was somehow turning into a comet with a coma, wouldn’t you think that it would have a tail to go with that? Mars is 1400 times the size of ISON. Wouldn’t it also have a tail that’s at least 1400 times the size of ISON? Comets don’t play tag, you’re it. It is estimated that there are over 1 trillion long-period comets in the Oort cloud. That’s 1,000,000,000,000 long period comets. As of September 19, 2013, the Minor Planet Center has observed the orbits of at least 715,946 comets, and that number is still growing….to be continued…
